The OS SLIM electronic hotel lock combines a slim-profile escutcheon and minimalist straight-line aesthetic with a comprehensive technology stack — Bluetooth opening, MiFare proximity, and optional online management via Gateway. It’s one of the most specified electronic locks in the hospitality sector, suited to new builds and retrofits alike, including narrow-profile aluminium doors.

By installing Gateways alongside OS SLIM locks, operators gain remote opening and management capability across the entire property. Front desk staff can issue keys, audit access and respond to lockouts without leaving reception — and the same network can manage EXO safes in each room.
The Brehon, a luxury four-star hotel overlooking Killarney National Park, asked us to replace their bedroom door locks with a modern smart locking solution — one that would simplify access management for guests and staff, integrate with mobile devices, and match the hotel’s contemporary interior.
MF Services supplied and installed the Omnitec OS SLIM alongside OS Access cloud-based management software, delivering Bluetooth and MIFARE card access for guests, and real-time remote access control for hotel staff.
The installation ran from March to May 2025 — 15 working days on-site, coordinated around peak-season occupancy. The team worked in narrow windows between check-out and check-in to keep the hotel fully operational throughout.
