The TS 73 EMF is designed to integrate directly with your building’s fire alarm or smoke detection system.
Under normal conditions, an electromagnet holds the door open. This allows staff, trolleys, and wheelchairs to pass through without touching the door. The hold-open point is fully adjustable between 75° and 180°, meaning you can set the door to sit exactly where you need it against the wall.
Safety is our priority. In the event of a fire alarm or a power cut, the electromagnet releases instantly. The integral hydraulic closer takes over, ensuring the door latches securely into the frame to stop the spread of smoke and fire. No batteries to change, no wedges to kick away—just automatic protection.

The TS 73 EMF can be configured as a free-swing door closer. When this mode is active, the door operates with zero resistance, as if there were no closer attached at all.
