Client Background

The Woodlands Apartments is a modern residential development located in Blackrock. As part of the development, the main entrance doors required automated access solutions to ensure convenient, safe, and secure entry for residents, visitors, and service personnel. The client engaged MF Services to provide a comprehensive, dependable, and integrated solution that catered to the specific requirements of the development.

The Challenge

The main entrance doors of the Woodlands Apartments needed to support high daily traffic while providing safe, secure, and accessible entry. The development required a solution that was:

Vision Contracting’s goal was to implement a reliable, compliant, and fully integrated door automation and access control system delivered on schedule and meeting all technical specifications.

Project Timeline & Scope

MF Services was involved from the early design stages, collaborating with Vision Contracting and the M&E contractor to design and implement a fully integrated access control and door automation system.

Considerations Included

• Resident access throughout the buildings and the car park
• Visitor entry management
• Delivery personnel and waste collection access
• Safe entry to bin storage areas
• Coordination with mechanical ventilation for smoke extraction in case of fire

The project was completed over 9 months, from initial design to final handover.
