Client Background

We’re proud to have worked with Townmore Construction on the new Roscrea Primary Care Centre healthcare development, a €7 million state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Co. Tipperary. This project has transformed the historic Malt House site into a modern, accessible hub for local health services.

This development significantly enhances access to healthcare for the local community, providing improved patient experiences within a high-quality, accessible, and thoughtfully designed environment.

The Challenge

The Roscrea Primary Care Centre is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to centralise multiple essential services, including GP practices, HSE clinical and community spaces, dental care, pharmacy services, and support offices. The development enhances healthcare access for the local community and supports better patient experiences in more accessible, high-quality healthcare facilities.

The Goal

The goal was to supply ironmongery that

• Ensured smooth and easy movement throughout the building
• Met Part M and Disability Access Certificate (DAC) requirements
• Combined durability, practicality, and a suitable aesthetic

Project Implementation

MF Services worked closely with Townmore Construction and the wider design team to ensure all door and ironmongery solutions were fully compliant with healthcare standards, matching the architect’s design.

From initial specification through to supply and installation, MF Services ensured:

• Compliance with all accessibility, safety, and fire standards
• Durable, high-quality, and aesthetically pleasing finishes that met the demands of the facility
• On time specification, supply, and fit
• Final safety checks and handover were completed efficiently
