Why These Products were Chosen

These product were selected for their robust, high-quality design, ideal for high-traffic and heavy-use environments.

  • Sliding doors ensured ease of access for end users.
  • Power-assisted swing doors enhanced accessibility for wheelchair users.
  • Riser doors provided access between floors to service vents while blending into corridors, enhancing the project design.
  • Ventilated steel doors protected plant room machinery, ensuring safety.

Project Implementation

Planning & Execution

Some of the key steps included:

  • MF Services engineers met with the architect and contractor on site to review the required ironmongery and door solutions.
  • An ironmongery schedule and project-specific floor plan were prepared.
  • A full door schedule was created.
  • To install the riser doors, all the service hatches were measured. This was to determine the correct panel sizes..
  • Technical drawings and submittals were provided by MF Services for product approval.
  • Ironmongery was split between the joiner off-site and the carpenter on-site to make installation faster and easier.
  • Final safety checks were completed at the end of the project.

On site Coordination & Amendments

Close collaboration with architects and contractors ensured smooth project delivery. During the project, a few adjustments were required, including:

  • The client had planned the swing door operators to go on the outside of the door. These had been moved to the inside.
  • Swing doors needed new wiring for power and fire alarms.

The MF Services team worked closely with the client and architect to adjust the designs as required in a timely matter.
