The X-Lane provides all functions such as ticket dispensing, ticket verifying and card reading, as are required in a car park environment.
The Lane Controller provides a modular hardware and software platform and can be configured to meet any requirements as might be encountered in current car park environment.
By standard, advanced barcode technology is used for identification of short term parking tickets as well as season passes.

Video Digitizer: Video digitizing subsystem available capable of providing two way video communication with built in camera.
Audio Controller: Audio subsystem controlling microphone and speaker for real time audio intercom over Ethernet network.
Communications: Ethernet networking for all communication within the parking system networking hardware based on 10BaseT, 100BaseT, fiber optic cable or Wireless LAN (WLAN) technology. TCP/IP protocols are used for all data communication within the system.
OPTIONAL FEATURES
Optionally, season card holders may be identified using proximity or advanced hands-free transponder technology. In addition, an automatic number plate recognition feature can be provided, allowing the identification of vehicles by their license plate. This option is a standard feature of the X-Parc system and is fully integrated with the operations software car park management system.
As a unique feature, the X-Lane unit may be equipped with a video and audio digitization subsystem, enabling two-way video and audio communication in real time (video conference) between the motorist and a remote operator.
